First plush you had as a kid

not my picture, but this is the first plushie i got when i was a newborn, mine looks more damaged now but still works. if you squeeze the stomach it sings a prayer about angels protecting you during the night

First ever plushie was a blue cat my aunt made for me. She made dozens of plushies for me as a kid! She liked to make more realistic and less cartoony plush designs.

I took this Snoopy with me everywhere. I still have him to this day! He’s just a little dirty but otherwise in good shape.

hiiii
difficult to say as i’ve been surrounded by plushes since i was born basically lol

i just wish i didn’t lose the one i was more attached to, used to bring it everywhere with me so that’s how i lost it. it was a cute green triceratops which i called Rufus.

It’s a good lesson for parents to remember to take and preserve picture’s of their child’s favorite toys… and to take pictures NOW of precious toys that you might lose and have strong memories of.

I wish I had a picture. But my first plush was a small teddy bear, except he wasn’t furry, he was more like linen. He was baby blue, and very soft. His name was Boo boo. I remember he started to get torn apart and mom would sew him up. One day I didn’t want to play with him anymore because he kept breaking. I just kept him safe and sound, but now that I think back, I don’t know where he got lost…

I’ve had him ever since I was a baby, eventually we put a dress over him to cover all the blank spots he had from me cuddling with him too much. I guess you can say I love hugging lol

i dont have a pic of it but when i was a tiny child i had a small lion plush with coarse hair as a mane.
I would sleep with it, it was my Aslan (character from Narnia which my mom read to me as a small boi)
At night I would brush its hair and eventually i started cleaning him with my saliva and brushing his hair to make it look good.
Eventually this thing stank like kid breathe.
Still loved it, wonder where he went.
Musta been like 5

It was a grey bunny that I always thought was a dog named Buster, I played with him so much I never touched action figures or anything it was always just Buster. He was super strong he could beat up all my other plushers, he was stronger than Goku. I ended up giving him to an exGF as some stupid sentimental gift cause it was like my most prized possession. I hope Buster someday finds his way back to me….

I had a little Winnie-the-Pooh plushie when I was a kid, I probably have it lying around somewhere in a box or something, I’ll have to dig it out when I can and get some of my own photos - but this one is pretty close from memory if it’s not the same one. As far as I can remember, this was the first stuffed toy I owned actually.
